With Summer right around the corner,  we've rounded up a few of our favorite activities to help make this, a Summer to remember!  Grab your sunglasses, tank tops, plenty of sunscreen, and lets hit the road :)

1. Pleasure Pier - Galveston

This is perfect for the adrenaline junkies out there!  It has plenty of roller coasters, water rides, a carousel, and amusement park games.   If shopping is more of your thing, they've got you covered.  Gift shops, candy stores, and even a Bubba Gump's line the pier.  There is something here for everyone!

2. Riva Row - The Woodlands

Right in our backyard, we have the awesome Riva Row Boat House!  Here you can rent single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and paddleboards.  It's a fun, affordable way to spend your day.  Your pup can even join you! Afterward, you can head on over to the Woodlands Waterway for dinner and drinks on the patio.  Bar Louie, Yucatan Taco Stand, and Goose's Acre are all great patio options.

3. Millie Bush Dog Park - Houston

If you're looking for the perfect place to take your pup on a hot summer day, look no further than the Millie Bush Dog Park!  Sporting 15 acres, three large ponds, and a separate area for small dogs, your dog will be able to roam free and play to their heart's content!

4. Perdnales Falls State Park - Johnson City

This one would make a great day trip.  It's about 3.5 hours from The Woodlands to Johnson City, where Perdnales Fall is located. Here you can hike, mountain bike, picnic, geocache, bird watch, and swim.  The park offers beautiful scenery and is great for all ages depending on which activity you choose.

5.  Jacob's Well - Wimberly

This one feels like giving away a secret but everyone should know about Jacob's Well! First things first, it does require a reservation so make sure you get one settled before you make the 3-hour drive.  The well is famously known by serious open water divers but anyone is free to take the plunge into the well if you dare.  If that isn't your thing, you can hang out in the clear shallow water surrounding the well.  It's very relaxing and since reservations are required, you never have to worry about it being too crowded.

We hope you have a great summer and we would love to hear your suggestions on where to go and what activities we should get into!
