Two new restaurants will be opening in the The Woodlands Waterway! After the closing of several bars and restaurants including Crush Wine Lounge, Yucatan Taco Stand, and America’s, The Woodlands Waterway will be adding Hearsay Gastrolounge and The Rose Lounge. Both of these restaurants/bars are owned and managed by the Howard Hughes Corporation. They will be occupying the space at 20 Waterway Avenue, near Grimaldi’s Pizza and Cyclone Anaya’s Tex-Mex kitchen.

According to Woodlands Online, “Hearsay Gastrolounge, a popular concept started in Houston, serves inspired renditions of contemporary American dishes and specialty craft cocktails in a chic antique atmosphere. Hearsay prides itself on being ‘half old world revival, half culinary crusaders.’ This will make Hearsay’s fourth restaurant with two locations in Downtown Houston and another in Galveston. With a quaint terrace complementing the restaurant, Hearsay will be open for lunch and dinner daily as well as weekend brunch.

The Rose Lounge will serve American fair with a Texas twist while providing an entertainment experience on The Woodlands Waterway. [It] is a new concept created by Diego Manobanda and Washington Revelo. The Rose Lounge will feature two levels including a rooftop space for its upscale restaurant setting.”

These new additions will join Baker Street, Bar Louie, Mahoney’s, Blue Door Coffee, and The Goose’s Acre as options for customers of The Waterway.
